Economy means sharing a vehicle with other booking parties. With Business, the vehicle is exclusively for your own group. Compare the whole group fare, the flight time, the airport pickup and the comfort you need. Business does not automatically provide more luggage space, and EcoNight is not a Business service.
Shared or private travel?
Economy may suit you if you accept travelling with other booking parties and can use the agreed pickup time. Collecting other passengers may affect the route and journey time. The fare relates to your own booking party's passenger count; it does not hire the entire vehicle exclusively.
Consider Business when you want a private vehicle for your own group, whether for a work trip, receiving visitors or travelling as a family. Group size alone does not decide which option to choose. Compare complete quotes for the same route and time rather than assuming that one category always works out better.
When does Economy become EcoNight?
For Budapest Airport journeys, the calculator uses the flight time to determine the Economy rate. Flights from 22:00 until before 09:00 use EcoNight pricing. This is the night-time Economy category. If you want a private vehicle for an early or late flight, request Business instead. The actual pickup time is agreed using your address and flight.
BUD base fares: compare the total for your group
Prices checked on 5 November 2026. These examples are one-way base fares to Budapest Airport for the whole booking party. Address-based pickup, airport entry and extras may be added. Use your actual journey details to calculate the current total.
- 1 passenger: Economy HUF 29,990; Business HUF 76,200.
- 2 passengers: Economy HUF 44,990; Business HUF 76,200.
- 3 passengers: Economy HUF 53,990; Business HUF 76,200.
- 4 passengers: Economy HUF 67,990; Business HUF 109,990.
The Business one-way base fare is HUF 76,200 for a group of 1–3 or HUF 109,990 for a group of 4–8. Do not multiply that group fare by the number of passengers. For three passengers, the example Economy/Business difference is HUF 22,210 for the group. To compare per-person costs, divide the full group total by your own passenger count, including additional items.

Budapest arrivals: meeting the driver and waiting
For an Economy pickup at Budapest, call the driver after landing, confirm you have arrived and give your zone number. We send the final meeting information by email and SMS. If you cannot find the zone or messages, ask for help using the contact you received.
For Business at Budapest, a name-board reception inside the arrivals hall can be requested separately. At other airports, follow the instructions agreed for that journey. Do not assume Budapest's zone numbers or reception arrangements apply elsewhere.
Economy and EcoNight have a 90-minute airport pickup period from the actual landing time. Business has a 30-minute grace period and then a further 90 minutes of free waiting. After that, each started half-hour costs HUF 2,500. Let the driver know if the meeting is delayed; the accepted offer and booking terms apply.

Luggage and requested equipment
The allowance in Economy, EcoNight and Business is one large suitcase plus one item of hand luggage per person. Discuss extra bags, pushchairs or sports equipment with the office before travelling. Choosing Business does not automatically increase that allowance.
A massage seat is available only in certain cars, by prior agreement. If it matters to you, mention it in the quote request and confirm the equipment in the specific vehicle.
Return journeys and the existing discount
The saving mentioned in our November campaign is the existing Budapest Economy/EcoNight return discount, not a separate November promotion. The calculator works out the two directions and the applicable discount using each direction's date, time, passenger count and addresses.
Business and the other airports have no automatic return discount. Check the whole return journey using your own details and plan from the accepted offer, rather than applying a discount intended for another category or airport.
What to prepare for your quote request
- The airport, flight number, travel date and flight time.
- The actual passenger count and every pickup or destination address.
- Your bags, any pushchair or sports equipment, and requested vehicle features.
- For a return trip, the separately checked details for the other direction.
The online form requests a quote. A technical receipt message is not ride confirmation; the contract is formed by accepting the valid offer. Payment method and deadline are stated in that offer. The form does not make an online card charge.
