Vienna Airport pickup: calling your driver and arranging reception

For a Pethő Travel pickup at Vienna Airport (VIE), call your driver when you arrive. The driver comes in from an outside waiting area, and you agree the exact meeting point during the call. If you want the driver to meet you inside the terminal, arrange that separately with the office before travelling; it requires parking and a parking charge.

Call before heading to the pickup point

Use the contact details and meeting instructions agreed for this journey. Tell the driver where you are and confirm where to meet before moving to another location. A general airport map is useful for orientation, but it is not confirmation of your particular pickup point.

The Budapest zone-number procedure should not be assumed to apply at Vienna. Follow the arrangements for your Vienna trip. If baggage collection or other formalities hold you up, tell the driver so that the meeting can be coordinated.

Indoor reception is a separate arrangement

If you prefer the driver to receive you inside the terminal, request this in advance. The driver needs to park, which incurs a parking charge. Confirm how that charge will be accounted for in your own offer. This guide does not promise a fixed parking price or a particular indoor reception arrangement without prior agreement.

What K3 means at Vienna Airport

Vienna Airport identifies K3 as a short-stay car park close to the arrivals-hall exit, suitable for collecting passengers. K3 is not the Car Park 3 parking garage. Knowing its location does not replace confirming the meeting point with your driver. Check the airport's current parking information rather than applying a departure drop-off allowance to an arrival pickup.

Check the terminal for your flight

The airport's current airline check-in list uses Terminal 1, Terminal 1A and Terminal 3. Find your airline in that list and check the flight displays for changes. Do not choose a terminal simply because a flight is described as low-cost or traditional.

Private Business fares and the return journey

Prices checked on 5 November 2026: the VIE Business base fare is EUR 420 for a group of 1–3 or EUR 500 for a group of 4–8, one way. At the calculator's HUF 400/EUR conversion rate, those are HUF 168,000 and HUF 200,000. These are group base fares; the exact address, parking arrangement and other agreed items determine the full quote.

For Vienna there is no automatic return discount: compare the two directions together using their actual dates, passenger counts and addresses. The Budapest Economy/EcoNight return discount does not automatically apply to Vienna Business travel.

Luggage, waiting and departure planning

The transfer allowance is one large suitcase and one item of hand luggage per person. Agree additional bags, pushchairs or sports equipment with the office beforehand. A private vehicle does not mean unlimited luggage capacity.

For Business airport pickup, an initial 30-minute grace period is followed by another 90 minutes of free waiting. After that, each started half-hour costs HUF 2,500. Tell the driver about delays; the accepted offer and booking terms govern your journey. This is separate from airport parking charges.

For an airport departure, agree the pickup time using the exact address and your airline's required airport arrival time. Allow for the road journey, traffic and possible stops, then check-in, baggage drop, checks and the walk to the gate. A road-time estimate alone is not the complete time from your door to boarding.

Details to send when requesting a quote

Provide the flight number, airport, date and time, passenger count, all pickup or destination addresses and luggage requirements. Include the other direction separately if you need a return trip, and mention any request for indoor reception.

The online form is a quote request, not ride confirmation. A technical receipt does not confirm transport; the contract is formed when you accept the valid offer. Payment method and deadline are set out in the offer. The form does not charge your card online.
